'Right hand' in the Bible
For David says of him, I saw the Lord before me evermore; lest I be shaken, he is at my right hand.
Uplifted then by God's right hand, and receiving from the Father the long-promised holy Spirit, he has poured on us what you now see and hear.)
For it was not David who ascended to heaven; David says, The Lord said to my Lord, 'Sit at my right hand,
And catching him by the right hand he raised him. Instantly his feet and ankles grew strong,
God lifted him up to his right hand as our pioneer and saviour, in order to grant repentance and remission of sins to Israel.
He, full of the holy Spirit, gazed up at heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at God's right hand.
"Look," he said, "I see heaven open and the Son of man standing at God's right hand!"
